THE JOURNEY

High-Grade Professional Education Centre Ltd was established in May, 1988 by Late Prof. Williams A.O. Egbuta and his wife Dr. J.C. Egbuta as a multi-Professional Training Centre. The primary purpose of the Centre is to provide a forum for student training and development for sound management of human and material resources at home, in industry and commerce.

Since its inception in 1988, the centre has produced many students at lower and middle level manpower. It has also produced high caliber professionals who today hold senior level positions and are contributing to the Political, Social and Economic development of their countries.

Apart from developing and training within its own curricular and faculties, programmes in the centre are tailored towards making students sound professionals who are capable of practicing in their individual fields. The centre training programmes are made to cover the Course contents of the following professional bodies all over the World.

Institute of Chartered Accountants, Chartered Institute of Marketing, Institute of Purchasing and Supply Management, Professional Institute of Computer Studies, Institute for Public Administrators, Business Education Examination Councils, Nigerian Institute of Management, The Institute of Chartered Economists The students of the Institute have continued to grow over the years and the centre has continued to receive recognition, Affiliation, Awards and International Partnership from Institution of higher learning both within Nigeria and Overseas.

Our philosophy is to produce the best of students based on intimate relationship of extreme candor and the development of extra study materials for study at home. The Institute gives assurance to its students to take them through their professional examinations by the provision of adequate study materials tailored towards such Professional Syllabus. Success is the goal. Thus to justify this Confidence and assurance, Students are subjected to rigorous examination tests and review lessons.

FOUNDER

He was a graduate of the Institute of Administrative Management, London, School of Journalism and Television, Berkshire (UK), and Aston University Distance Learning Programme with specialization in Management and Industrial Relations, Journalism and Mass Communication with more than Twenty (20) years of working experience in senior management position having worked for companies such as National Salt Plc, Morgan Omonitan and Abe among others.

He has a good number of published works and literature. He was an Academic Board member of European-American University where he obtained his Doctor of Philosophy in Management Science and the Head, All Africa Operations of the University.

Late Rev. Egbuta is a Clergy member of the Foursquare Gospel movement in Nigeria. He was also a member of the Institute of Administrative Management, London, member Nigeria Institute for Training and Development (NITAD) and a fellow member of the British Society of Commerce (Nigeria and UK).

Dr J. C. Egbuta received the honorary degree of Doctor of Humane Letters from EAU in 2015.

She trained in secretarial and administrative studies, obtaining certifications in these disciplines through Pitman’s Examination Institute, London, The Association of Certified Private Secretaries, London, the United Christian Secretarial College, Nigeria, Grace Institute of Secretarial and Management Studies, Nigeria, the Society of Commerce Examination Board and Nationwide Computer Professional Institute, Nigeria. She gained the British Careers Training Institute Diploma in Proficient Clerical Duties in 1978. In 2009 she advanced to the National Certificate of Education at Yewa Central College of Education and followed this with a Diploma in Public Administration with Upper Credit at The Polytechnic, Ibadan. In 2013 she graduated with her Bachelor of Science degree in Educational Management from EAU and subsequently, had further studies at the postgraduate level for Masters in Educational Management (M.Ed) from Aldersgate University College.

She has more than thirty years of working experience including fifteen years as Executive Secretary having worked for many reputable organizations in Nigeria. She worked for the North American African Corporation between 1977-85, before moving to Rambaxy Montari Pharmaceuticals from 1985-91 and then Trufoods Nigeria from 1991-2002. Between 2004 and 2009 she worked for Shongai Packaging Industries. In 2009 she joined her late husband Professor Williams A.O. Egbuta as joint co-ordinator of the Lagos Study Centre Ikeja of The Polytechnic Ibadan and from 2011 has been Co-ordinator of the Federal College of Education (Technical), Akoka, Lagos. She has attended many Seminars and Conferences at advanced Management level. From 2001 she has served as an ordained Deaconess in the Foursquare Gospel Church of Nigeria.

In September 2015, she succeeded her late husband Professor Williams A.O. Egbuta in his position as head of the HighGrade Professional Education Centre Ltd, Lagos, Nigeria.




Mr. Egbuta Dan Enyioma

Mr. Egbuta Dan Enyioma holds M.Sc in Finance from Aldersgate University/College, Philippines having had his B.Sc in Banking and Finance from Abia State University. He also has a Diploma in Desktop Publishing.

He served at Ministry of Finance Oke Mosan, Abeokuta Ogun State, where he gained much enriching exposure in the management of public sector finances, organizational ethics and leadership.

He is an IT savvy, which skill and versatility he has brought to bear on the development and progress of the hub.

He is currently undergoing a study in Advanced Cyber Security.

Not only did he deservingly and courageously stepped into the giant shoes left by his father, he brought innovation, purposefulness, vision and vibrancy to the business, strictly positioning it in a fit and solid ground to measure in the competitiveness of today’s and future business terrain with up-to-date technological, human and material resources. He is a young, dynamic, energetic and upward looking gentleman, who is not resting on his oars to give the business a touch of class. No doubt, his father, the late Prof. William A.O. Egbuta, foreknew he had a winner in him.

He has the onerous task of bestriding over the management and advancement of other arms of the education hub such as St. Williams International College, Ghana. This is an international college that is founded with the vision of raising egg heads within and beyond African shores with its pattern of study tailored with the combination of European and American system of education that is routed at heart of individual students, drawing strength from its wealth of resources and strong international institutional partnerships and accreditations.

The young Egbuta is ever selflessly committed not only to sustain the legacy but to take it to a lofty height and wider horizon. His quest for knowledge and advancement is insatiable. With him, future of High Grade Professional Education Centre Limited and St. Williams International College has no limit.
